Job Overview

DramaBox is seeking a dynamic Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Los Angeles to source top creative talent to support our expanding short drama operations — including actors, scriptwriters, directors, producers, and post-production professionals. This role goes beyond traditional recruitment; it requires a proactive, relationship-driven approach to discovering talent and exploring partnership opportunities that drive business growth.

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and selection to onboarding, ensuring a smooth experience and timely communication with HQ and internal teams.
  • Leverage your personal network and engage in active industry outreach to uncover new talent and collaboration opportunities.
  • Participate in industry events, film festivals, and community gatherings to expand and maintain relationships across the LA entertainment scene.
  • Collaborate with creative and production teams to align hiring needs with project goals and timelines.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for DramaBox in the entertainment industry, promoting our mission and opportunities.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition, ideally within the entertainment or creative industries, with a proven track record.
  • Strong knowledge of the Los Angeles entertainment landscape and existing industry connections.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A creative, resourceful mindset and the ability to identify talent through both conventional and unconventional means.
  • Proficiency with online recruiting tools and platforms, plus a willingness to explore in-person and offline recruitment strategies.
  • A genuine passion for storytelling, creative work, and building strong, high-performing teams.
  • Mandarin language skills are a plus!
