Position Overview: Service Technician
Our Client is seeking an experienced Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Siemens controls and Fanuc automation , with the ability to troubleshoot CNC machines —both electrically and mechanically. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and performance of our CNC equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting production efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
•Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical and mechanical issues on CNC machines.
•Perform preventive maintenance on CNC equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
•Work with Siemens control systems and Fanuc automation to identify and resolve technical problems.
•Calibrate, align, and adjust machine components to meet production specifications.
•Interpret schematics, blueprints, and manuals to facilitate repairs and installations.
•Provide technical support to operators and production teams.
•Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements accurately.
•Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machine reliability and efficiency.
•Maintain compliance with safety standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing CNC machines.
• Technical Skills: Hands-on experience with Siemens controls and Fanuc automation is required.
• Knowledge Base: Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Education: Technical degree or certification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Communication: Effective communication skills to work cross-functionally with different teams.
Preferred Skills:
•Familiarity with additional CNC control systems (Mitsubishi, etc.).
•Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
•Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Should be available for travel to Germany for training as needed.
