Install Service Technician

Location: Elmwood Park, Chicago, IL (Heavy Travel Required)

Compensation: $32.21/hour (Union Position with Wage Increases)

What You’ll Do:

• Install and maintain cutting-edge automated packaging equipment.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and software-related issues.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and service teams to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Travel regionally and nationally, ensuring seamless installations and customer satisfaction.

What We’re Looking For:

• 2-5+ years of OEM Technician or related experience (military, packaging equipment, or food manufacturing preferred).
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills (24V-480V experience preferred).
• Ability to read schematics, operate a voltmeter, and diagnose electrical/mechanical issues.
• Self-motivated with excellent communication skills to work independently and with customers.
• Willingness to travel extensively (50-60%), including occasional weekends. -Midwest travel
