Overview:

We are seeking a talented and strategic Senior Writer (SEO Strategist) to join our marketing team. This individual will play a key role in driving organic growth by producing high-performing blog and website content optimized for SEO/GEO and aligned with our lead acquisition strategy.

The Senior Writer will be responsible for developing content that enhances brand awareness, engages our target audience, and ranks competitively in search engine results. This role demands deep expertise in SEO/GEO strategy and implementation, as well as hands-on experience with industry-standard tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Write, edit, and optimize blog posts, landing pages, product pages, and other website content with a focus on driving organic search traffic and conversions.
  • Conduct keyword research and develop content strategies that support SEO goals and business priorities.
  • Use tools like Moz , Ahrefs , Surfer , and Google Analytics to evaluate content performance and guide optimization.
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales teams to understand target personas and develop content that supports campaigns, sales enablement, and education.
  • Perform ongoing SEO audits of content and propose updates to improve rankings and user engagement.
  • Contribute to editorial calendars and ensure all written content aligns with our brand voice and style guidelines.
  • Monitor competitor content and industry trends to identify new content opportunities and maintain thought leadership.
  • Assist in building sales enablement and thought leadership content, in tandem with our existing resources.

Required Skills & Qualifications (must-haves):

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience writing for digital marketing, with a focus on SEO-driven content.
  • Proven ability to create content that ranks and drives lead acquisition.
  • Advanced proficiency in SEO tools including Moz, Ahrefs, Surfer, and Google Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of on-page SEO, content structure, metadata, and keyword strategy.
  • Demonstrated history/ experience in writing content optimized for AI (GEO).
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and clarity.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (nice-to-haves):

  • Experience working in the IT space, ideally within the Microsoft ecosystem.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and integrating content strategy with CRM data.
  • Understanding of B2B marketing and technical audiences.
  • Experience developing content for email, whitepapers, case studies, and webinars.
