Onsite Requirements:

  • Minimum 8+ years EWM, 3+ years EWM on S/4 HANA
  • Functional/Analyst for day-to-day support, enhancements, customizations, and development,
  • Must have experience with warehouse inbound/outbound, production integration and physical inventory processes
  • Preferred background experience is someone that has worked with SAP Material Management (MM), Sales & Distribution (SD), Warehouse Management (WM)

Job Description:

  • Under the leadership and tactical guidance of a Logistics and Warehouse Management Architect, the Specialist - SAP Extended Warehouse Management (SAP EWM) will collaborate with business stakeholders, consultants to help design, develop, deploy and support solutions in SAP S/4HANA and any associated bolt-ons to meet business unit needs for "Extended Warehouse Management" business processes.
  • The incumbent will also play a critical role in supporting the developing the architecture and implementation of SAP S4HANA within the operating subsidiaries and the holding company for Terumo in North and South America.

Architecture of SAP Solution :

  • In collaboration with SAP COE Leaders, Logistics and Warehouse Management Architect and project consultants, Develop and maintain roadmap for the Logistics and Warehouse Management solutions, ensuring it reflects the current and future business needs, aligned with industry, SAP best practices and solution roadmap
  • Responsible for developing standard business process design, configure, test, deploy and support SAP S/4HANA solution along with any bolt-on for all "Logistics and Warehouse Management Processes" across Production, Procurement and distribution functions.
  • Proactively and effectively communicate and collaborate with the SAP COE Leaders, Logistics and Warehouse Management Solution Architect, PMO, Project Team and Business Stakeholders to address the need for Quality Management process through SAP S/4HANA bolt-on and other integrated applications (e.g., Hyperion, Tungsten, Esker, IBP, HRIS, MDG, Vertex, EWM, MES, LIMS etc.) which have relevance across Terumo operations.
  • Enhance Logistics and Warehouse Management business processes through the development of regionally relevant solutions to meet business needs.
  • Work with other Process Team(s) in resolving key integration points between and across processes to ensure they are properly accounted for.
  • Work with other Process Team(s) on cross-functional processes (SAP Hierarchy etc)Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the test scripts in the integration testing cycles
  • Work with other Process Team(s) in development and execution of the cutover activities
  • Utilize and build on basic knowledge in areas such as IDOCs, batch job processing to troubleshoot and suggest improvements
  • Perform Fit/Gap assessment and finalize functional specifications
  • Work with Consultants/Developers to clarify any requirements as needed
  • Perform unit testing and ensure satisfaction of the documented requirements
  • Act as main design and support authority for the Logistics and Warehouse Management team in collaboration with Business stakeholders.
  • Timely Development and communication of weekly/monthly/quarterly status reports to Logistics and Warehouse Management Solution Architect

Position Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs ):

  • Software: Strong knowledge of SAP Suite of Products and their latest versions
  • Hands on experience in designing and configuring SAP S4 HANA Embedded Extended Warehouse Management, SAP S4 HANA Decentralized Extended Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution, Intra/Inter Company Logistics, Logistics Execution, Transportation and Shipping.
  • Strong configuration and analytics experience in the areas like Deliveries, Batch Management in EWM, Production Integration with EWM, Integration with QM, Wave Management, Putaway and Stock Removal Strategies, Post Processing Framework, Replenishment, Physical Inventory.
  • Medical Device/Serialized product experience is required
  • Experience working in S/4 HANA, SAP ECC 6.0, Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Integration with Global Trade Compliance (GTS) and Transportation Management (TM) is required
  • SAP Certification in Extended Warehouse Management is required.
  • Exposure to Cloud Computing applications as applicable to SAP software
  • Some familiarity with SOX and IRM compliance
  • Some familiarity with FDA CFR Part 11 Software Validation processes
  • Keen analytical skills
  • Keen sense of maturity, judgment and diligence required to:
  • Secure company's financial interests; and,Avoid exposures to expensive delays and cost overruns.
  • Strong inter-personal and communication skills
  • Ability to cope with stress and continuously changing demands/priorities
  • Willingness to learn new skills/techniques/processes
  • Knowledge of project methodologies like Scrum, Agile, Waterfall
  • Basic understanding of ABAP and debugging ABAP code
  • Deep understanding of B2B and Customer Interactions processes
  • Familiarity with enabling principal structure for tax optimized financial flow is highly desirable
  • Strong knowledge of IDOCs, and Workflow is highly desired
  • Familiarity with general Demand to Supply, Order to Cash, Source to Pay and Record to Report and the key integration points.
  • Background Experiences:
  • Bachelor's degree in any process area, (e.g., Industrial, Supply Chain, etc.) with professional certification preferably in SAP (e.g., SAP Extended Warehouse Management)
  • Experience in Medical Device / Life Sciences Industry is preferable.
  • Major large, complex multi country end to end SAP transformation programs
  • 5-8 years of Experience in Global Process Design, Deployment and/or support experience utilizing and configuring the SAP Extended Warehouse Management modules with a heavy focus in Delivery Processes, Warehouse Management, Logistics Execution, Transportation, Shipping and Global Trade Compliance Processes
  • Strong knowledge of Intercompany/Intracompany setups, IDOCs, and Workflow is highly preferred
