NOW HIRING: Maintenance Mechanic / Technician

Location: Zeochem - 1360 S. 12 th Street, Louisville, KY 

24/7 Chemical Manufacturing Facility

**This is a night shift position, working 6pm-6am**

12-Hour Shifts | Bi-weekly 36/48 Hour Schedule | Weekend and Night Shifts Required

Pay based on experience; plus $1.10 Night Shift Differential paid for night shift roles

Are you a hands-on problem solver who thrives in a fast-paced industrial setting? Zeochem is looking for a Maintenance Mechanic [Technician] to join our team at our 24/7 chemical manufacturing site. In this role, you’ll keep our operation running smoothly by repairing and maintaining the equipment essential to producing our high-quality Molecular Sieves.

What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, fans, motors, conveyors, pneumatic systems, and production equipment
• Perform predictive, preventative, and corrective maintenance tasks
• Use hand tools and basic electrical equipment for repairs and installations
• Complete work orders, update CMMS records, and communicate shift-to-shift status updates
• Perform welding and fabrication for equipment installations and repairs
• Follow all safety protocols and PPE requirements, reporting unsafe conditions proactively
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor and other team members to support a reliable, safe manufacturing process

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in chemical manufacturing (or equivalent), strongly preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools, equipment, and basic electrical systems
• Ability to read and write in English to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and complete documentation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in physically demanding environments, and climb stairs and ladders
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift schedule, including nights, weekends, and mandatory overtime

Work Environment

You’ll work around moving mechanical parts, heat, and occasionally at heights or with hazardous materials. Proper PPE and a safety-first mindset are essential.
