Job Description

OneSearch Group has partnered with one of the fastest-growing Corporate Banking groups in South Florida in their search for a Corporate Banking Credit Analyst II to join their team in Miami! The Analyst will focus on credit structuring, execution and ongoing review of Leveraged Finance, Acquisition Finance, Middle Market and Asset-Based credit facilities across a wide variety of industries.

Essential functions :

  • Responsible for the credit underwriting of Leveraged Finance, M&A and Middle Market facilities, to determine feasibility and credit risk of granting loans.
  • Prepare Credit Approval Memorandums for presentation to applicable approval authority committee. The memos will be for existing credit facilities, new potential credit relationships, Annual Reviews (to be completed on time), waivers, amendments, and others as required.
  • Underwrite and analyze credit investments by evaluating and reviewing loan information, including but not limited to financial projections, risk mitigation, financial statements, financial models, lender presentations/decks, public filings, datarooms, diligence reports, appraisal reports, and other related loan information and supporting documentation.
  • Pro-actively anticipate questions/topics that credit committee members will likely focus on, sufficiently address those topics and include in the credit documents and be prepared and ready to address/discuss those points at committee if needed.
  • Present the investment memo to the Corporate Banking Department and to Credit Department for discussion and conclusion including the department recommendation to Management and/or credit committee. The Credit Analyst must inform the corporate banking team and Credit team of any material risk factor, discrepancy or deviation discovered during the preparation and/or review of the CAM, its underwriting, credit analysis and due diligence.
  • Assist the Corporate Banking Department concerning lending policies and procedures, quality control matters, loan review, and underwriting.
  • Assist in monitoring the financial performance of the portfolio, completing waivers and amendments, assisting with quarterly and other reporting.
  • Participate in Corporate Banking pipeline meetings.

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years of corporate and/or Investment banking credit underwriting experience or related field
